As Lord Allan Velasco officially took the helm of the House of Representatives after the lower chamber ratified his speakership election, ousting Alan Peter Cayetano from his post, social media influencer, writer and New York University alumna, Krizette Laureta Chu, once again showed how fearless she is by openly admitting that she is actually not in favor of the two Allans in the Speakership.

In her latest Facebook post, Chu said that both Allans, Cayetano and Velasco, do not deserve to be the House Speaker, for reasons that Cayetano, has no gentleman’s honor and doesn’t know how to play the long game. While Velasco, on the other hand, has not proven anything yet to be entitled to one of the highest positions in the government.

APC, because he has no gentleman’s honor and doesn’t know how to play the long game.
Parang hindi politiko—walang subtlety. Walang vision. He could’ve gracefully stepped aside, looked like a bigger man—and then used this as a way to bargain his way to the VP position in 2022. Garapalan—if he didn’t agree to the agreement, he should’ve stood his ground early on. This means he doesn’t have the political know how to ride to the top, his desire for power is so raw, it dominates him. Wala nang ibang importante sa kanya kundi yun.

LORD ALLAN VELASCO. Wala pa syang napapatunayan, Speaker agad? Wala pa syang pinaglaban na mahirap, Speaker agad? Wala pang enough na gravitas as a politician, Speaker agad? Speakership handed to him on a silver platter—WHY?



Why in the world does he deserve the Speakership with more seasoned people there? More people who have served more years and know more things? What did he do to deserve it? Anyone?
Ano ba sa inyo ang Speakership? You are demeaning one of the highest positions in the land with your politicking.
